The weather forecast is generated usually once an hour using WXSim local atmospheric modelling software, which uses GFS, RAOB, METAR, buoy and this stations data to produce the forecast, it is usually quite accurate in the short, (48 hours) forecast range. Occasionally corrupt data from the GFS will give strange forecasts, usually corrected with the next GFS issue
