About the weather station
The weather station in use is a Davis Vantage Pro 2.
Lightning detection is from a Boltek Stormtracker using Nexstorm software from Astrogenic Systems.

Well July turned out miserable, even wetter and duller than last year, and last year was bad, didn’t stop me cranking up the BBQ though, a large umbrella is always handy for BBQ’s in Northern Ireland
I’m currently writing a site for BlackBerry and iPhone users, hopefully it won’t be too long before it’s ready,it will save zooming in.
The monthly rainfall totals are now back to normal, and should be displayed correctly on the main weather page.
A meteogram (visual representation) for the forecast has been added under the forecast tab, this also gives a chance of thunder storm forecast.
Just added a new graphs page under the data tab, these give temperature, rainfall wind speed graphs and more for the last 24 hours data.
Rainfall data now back online, under the data tab on the navigation bar.
In the meantime I’d be interested to know of your thoughts on the new site layout. Comments appreciated via the contact form.
