About the weather station
The weather station in use is a Davis Vantage Pro 2.
Lightning detection is from a Boltek Stormtracker using Nexstorm software from Astrogenic Systems.
Welcome to the new Cloughfern Weather web site.
It is laid out a bit differently to the old site, but hopefully all the main features are still here and you find the site easier to use. Please use the contact form if there is anything I have taken off the site that you would like back again, or just to say hello.
I’m currently writing a site for BlackBerry and iPhone users, hopefully it won’t be too long before it’s ready,it will save zooming in.
The daily data has now been set to reset at midnight, thanks to everyone who voted in the poll. July’s rainfall data will need 13.2mm added to it to read correctly because of the 9am reset time.
A meteogram (visual representation) for the forecast has been added under the forecast tab, this also gives a chance of thunder storm forecast.
Just added a new graphs page under the data tab, these give temperature, rainfall wind speed graphs and more for the last 24 hours data.
Rainfall data now back online, under the data tab on the navigation bar.
In the meantime I’d be interested to know of your thoughts on the new site layout. Comments appreciated via the contact form.
